The Inn Town Motel is centrally set right on Main Street such that the traveler can easily walk around and explore the entire city of Waupun. Within a very few minutes walk from your door, you can see the famous "End of the Trail" sculpture, one of American art's most powerful and iconic pieces. The surrounding blocks are the historic downtown, where visitors can stroll amidst local shops, hardware stores, small boutiques, and breathe in that friendly atmosphere of a classic Midwestern town.

For dining, various good independent places are within a 5-10 minute walk. You have a good ol' American diner to get a breakfast or lunch that’ll stick to your ribs, and local pub for an easy evening meal, and pizza parlors. This allows guests an excellent choice to leave their car at rest and take a meal out without jostling it. A local grocery would cater to this need too, to stock up on snacks and drinks for the in-room refrigerator.

There are also some pretty green spaces and cultural sites in the area. A little walk will get you to the Rock River’s banks for a nice walk or to one of the parks in the city. The Waupun Heritage Museum and the old Waupun Public Library are also short walks away, giving people a look at local history and culture. The motel’s location really puts you right within the heart of the community.
